Tiny Sites
Your Site’s Look & Feel
This page outlines how we define the look and feel you’re drawn to so your Tiny Site feels like a natural extension of you and your work. Before our Launch Call, gather a couple of examples and a few notes about what you like — this helps me move quickly and design with confidence. Clear preferences up front make the whole process smoother (and faster).
Read this page, then head to Site Prep when you’re ready.
Before I start building your Tiny Site, we’ll take a little time to define your design preferences so your website feels like a natural extension of you and your work.
Here’s how it works:
- We set the design direction on your Launch Call. We’ll talk through the look and feel you’re drawn to, what you want your site to communicate, and any design elements you already have (like colors, a logo, or photos).
- You share a few examples you like. If you have websites, fonts, or general visual inspiration you’re drawn to, you can send a few links. This helps me understand your taste quickly and confidently.
- I translate your preferences into a polished website design. Using your content, brand colors, and our design direction, I design and build a one-page site that’s professional, clear, and aligned with your brand.
A quick note about inspiration: Examples are incredibly helpful for understanding what you like. Rather than recreating another site exactly, I use what you share to guide design choices that fit your content, goals, and audience.
What to send:
- Your logo/wordmark (or tell me you need one)
- Brand colors
- Photos to be used on your site.
- 2 – 3 website examples that match the overall look you’re going for
- A short list of “must include” and “please avoid” design notes
